The Reserve Bank of India has initiated a new portal named as the UDGAM. The UDGAM stands for Unclaimed Deposits- Gateway to Access Information. The RBI has launched the portal for the use of the General public to help them to easily get the information regarding their deposits. There may be users who might have unclaimed deposits across various banks at a single portal. This portal has been designed as a centralized web portal in order to search the unclaimed deposits. Due to an increased number in the unclaimed deposits, the RBI has been undertaking various public awareness programmes. The Unclaimed Deposits Amount 2023 are the ones which have been matured and haven’t been claimed for more than 10 years.

The Reserve Bank Information Technology Private Limited (ReBIT) and Indian Financial Technology & Allied Services (IFTAS) along with the 7 participating banks have come in collaboration to develop this portal. - Open the website udgam.rbi.org. on your device.
- On the homepage, click on the Register here tab.
- Now fill in your name and mobile number to complete the udgam Portal Registration 2023.
- Set the password for your account and then enter the captcha code.
- Click on the Checkbox and then click on the Submit tab.
- Complete the registration by entering the OTP sent to your mobile number.

- Now login using your registered id and password.
- Now on the new UDGAM page, fill in the necessary details asked from you.
- Provide the account holder’s name and fill in your Bank’s Name.
